Opening Concert
St. Peter’s Church, Riga, on Thursday, October 16th at 18:00.
The Jury of the 14th Riga International Competition for Young Pianists cordially invites you to the Opening Concert at St. Peter’s Church, Riga, on Thursday, October 16th at 18:00. Admission is free. The program will feature highlights of piano literature, with a special focus on the works of Latvian composer Jānis Mediņš and his Piano Dainas.
The evening will also mark the launch of a new album – the complete recording of all 24 Dainas for piano by Jānis Mediņš, performed by Jury President Arta Arnicane.
